COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Why We Do It

The majority of our team members grew up in low socioeconomic or generally difficult conditions. We see these events as a way to remove potential obstacles for families and to give back to the community that raised us.

Annual Events

  • International Women's Day Celebration

In honor of raising up women in our community, we host other women-owned local businesses during a special tattoo event. Jewelry designers, food vendors, aesthetic injectors, and more have participated in this yearly celebration.

  • Back to School Giveaway

After hosting our fundraising tattoo event, 100% of the money raised (including tips) is used to purchase school supplies and then given away to the community. To date, we’ve raised almost $20,000.

  • Free Photos with Santa

After seeing how expensive it traditionally is for kids to take photos with Santa, we decided to invite him to our place and allow families to get their own time with the special guy. Another 100% free event for the community.

Back to School Giveaways

Beginning in 2021, The Studio’s Tony Stark came to our team with an idea to host a tattoo event where all of the proceeds go towards buying school supplies for the area’s students. Growing up, he often utilized similar giveaways to get school supplies and wanted to pay it forward now as an adult.

After the first year’s success, it’s safe to say that this yearly event is at the heart of many of us at The Studio. We no longer host the giveaway ourselves, and in 2024 began partnering with local organizations to donate our tattoo event proceeds.

To date, we have helped hundreds of students receive school supplies and raised almost $20,000 for the cause.

Free Photos with Santa

One of our artists, Lily Gamble, was walking through the mall one day during the holiday season. After stopping by the Santa booth out of curiosity, she found out that people had to pay $50+ just to get a photo with him. She immediately reached out to Brittney and Tony and told them about her idea to host an event where kids could get photos with Santa for free.

They immediately jumped on the idea because they, too, are die-hard Christmas fans and love anything to do with the season.

And so the annual Free Photos with Santa event began! We’ve been hosting the event for years now, consistently seeing 50 to 75 families each year. There are even some kids who have been to every single event. It’s a lot of work, but we love giving back in a way that gives priceless memories for the area—even if it’s just a classic crying baby photo.
